The UK's largest listed provider of private rental homes, Grainger plc, has announced that its first build-to-rent development in Cardiff, The Copper Works, has officially launched.

Located on Tyndall Street in Capital Quarter, The Copper Works will create an additional 307 new homes in Cardiff, with a mix of studio, one and two bed apartments, and four 20th floor apartments with personal balconies.

Alongside this, the copper design theme, inspired by the building's façade, continues into the amenity spaces with accents of copper throughout and a double height reception featuring copper mailboxes.

The Copper Works features several shared spaces and resident amenities, including a large, top floor, 4,697sq rooftop with floor to ceiling glass windows offering panoramic views over the city.

Split across two external terraces with outdoor seating, the rooftop also offers an indoor resident's lounge complete with co-working pods, a bookable private dining room, fully fitted kitchen and games area complete with a pool table.

Residents at The Copper Works will also benefit from an on-site gym, high speed internet throughout the development and a dedicated on-site Resident Services Team who will be on hand for resident queries, whilst building a community within the development, hosting regular events in the amenity spaces for residents to meet and socialise with new people.
