Canton's recently-opened indoor-outdoor neighbourhood hangout, TwentySix, has revealed a range of new menu options designed to offer affordable al-fresco eats for everyone, all summer long.

Following requests from the community for a day-to-day food offering, a brand-new weekday menu now includes staples such as Beef Chilli Con Carne & Rice and a Caprese Ciabatta filled with pesto, mozzarella and tomato.

Also included is the signature TwentySix Club Triple Sandwich filled with bacon, egg, cheese, chicken, lettuce and tomato.

Whilst the menu is available all day and every day, the venue will offer any two lunch dishes for £12 between 12pm – 2pm (weekdays only).

Meanwhile, a Thursday Night Curry Club brings a menu of classic curries (such as Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Korma, Chicken Jalfrezi, Beef Madras, and Sweet Potato, Chickpea & Coconut Curry), which all come with rice, naan bread, a poppadom and drink for just £9.95.

The new menus are the brainchild of TwentySix founder Helen Gorman, whose established Toast brand will still be serving up cult brunches on weekends at TwentySix, with popular favourites like American Pancakes with Crispy Bacon & Maple Syrup and Sourdough Toast with Harissa Butter.

As well as this, a new 'Boujee Brunch' offer will include any brunch dish, a coffee and a freshly squeezed orange juice for £11.95.

Brunchers can also upgrade the orange juice to a house mimosa for an extra £3.

Helen explained that the new menus at TwentySix are designed to offer an affordable way for the community to eat out this summer, even as budgets tighten during the cost-of-living crisis:

"Since we opened the doors to TwentySix back in February, we have been overwhelmed by the support we've received; we've already built up a loyal base of customers who come to enjoy our brunches, street food pop-ups and our monthly market, the BoneYard Bazaar.

"But we know that times are tight for everyone, and so when we set about designing our new lunchtime and curry club menus, we wanted to make it as affordable as possible, so that whatever people's budget, they can enjoy something to eat and drink at our neighbourhood hangout over the summer months."

Between TwentySix's custom-built, weatherproof seating area (complete with booth seating, cute festoon lighting, and timed wall heaters) and the open seating out front, the venue can now hold more than 90 covers - with plenty of space to shelter from the Welsh weather or bask in the summer sunshine.

The venue's fully licensed bar is also well-stocked with a wide selection of soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits, and regular seasonal specials – including their Summer Spritz menu priced at £6.95 each.
