The Manic Street Preachers are to headline Cardiff Castle next summer alongside Suede, as part of a number of outdoor gigs in the UK. The Manics, originally from Blackwood in Caerphilly, will be playing at the iconic venue for two nights (Friday, 5 July and Saturday, 6 July 2024) with Suede, after they toured with each other in North America and Japan. Comprised of James Dean Bradfield, Sean Moore and Nicky Wire, the Welsh band have nearly 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and last played at Cardiff Castle in 2019. Suede, from London, are made of Brett Anderson, Neil Codling, Simon Gilbert, Richard Oakes and Mat Osman, and are currently working on their 15th album, a follow-up to 2021's The Ultra Vivid Lament. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.
